THE INSTITUTE

Compassion secondary school is Christian Missionary School owned and managed by the society of Missionaries of Compassion working in the diocese of Ifakara. With a vision to bring a ray of light into the lives of tiny tots through quality education and fulfilling the dream of Fr.JoseKaimett, the Founder. The school took its inception in 2009 under the able leadership of Fr. Manoj Mathew. By the blessings and Graces of God Almighty, the school has developed in such a way that it has got a well-established Parish church, very famous and well standard Secondary school with separate dormitories for boys and girls.

We have achieved a lot so far, one of them being providing the best education and standing among the best schools in the district, region and country at large.

We have achieved getting students from all parts of Tanzania, and creating the best and conducive environment for learning purposes. We have as well achieved 100% pass and selection of students for advanced studies (refer to www.necta.go.tz). Recognizing all these achievements and more, we have been awarded various certificates as the best performing school by the government.

Our school is a standing example of what leadership with vision, commitment and discipline can achieve. Looking back at our journey of 11 years, serving the cause of education, we are happy and proud at the thought of the memorable milestone we have crossed, the great strides made in every field of activity.

In serving this great purpose of sharpening young minds, we aren’t looking at what we achieved but rather what we can do more and in the best possible way. Our goal is to go all the way up even more; we are in for the best academic performance. Our spirits are higher, our unity is stronger and our minds are positive and so sharp to ensure that when you are here, you get the best education there is to offer. We are aiming at making this school the best educational institute in the country and we have everything to achieve that. We extend our hands to everyone out there looking for an opportunity to study and excel, we are here for you.

In our adventure in life, we go along with hope, compassion and gratitude. As the eye is precious to the body, so also our students to us, and as the beauty pleases the eye so also does our effort in building learning community pleasingly standard.

The co traveller in this journey of academic venture is worthy of our help to grow, our comfort and strength, hence, making it our daily routine to grant what is the rightful privilege to our respected students in all humility and truth.

Prayer caries us along as we fulfil our duties not just to please the authority, the parents nor the administration rules, but also to keep our conscience clean and pure as we appear before God in prayer. Through the consideration of our children’s good as a measure of our peace of mind, we are able to manage the various rough roads and hard times on this venture.

This venture is quite a life process, as each one depends on the other at different specification in time. Hence, my effort today in making a better foundation for my pupil, is as well my effort today in preparing my better teacher in the future. This is our greetings to every reader who is able to trace this outpouring quest.
